I had a look at

tempting, for me F4 would be enough most of the time - I could always take
my 35mm Summilux  (also from the mid/late 60s) for low light shots.

No I don't, if you're asking me to compare it to current production, but if
you look at Erwin Puts's site then he'll give you chapter and verse.
My 50mm lens is a Summilux, as is my 35mm lens, both from the late 1960s.
Very different to current Leica lenses and my 28mm lens is a Ricoh, not
much use I'm afraid!
