Sherry returned my email last night. She explained that her screwmount bench
is behind 9 months. This is not the state of her other work. As I am in no
particular hurry, I'll check back with her later.

I do not intend to outfit this body with a lens and viewfinder. I believe it
is in too perfect a condition to start using now. So I need to consider the
disposition of the Ig body.

If I choose to keep it and store it, should I have it CLA'd now? There's
nothing to clean, really. But it does need all of the lubricants replaced.
Should I wait until some later time (say 15 years) to have the body CLA'd
then, in prep to sell?

If I choose to sell it now, would the cost of the CLA likely improve its
value or fitness for sale sufficiently to be worthwhile? This body shows no
use marks, the accessory shoes show no evidence of use. Except for my own
fingerprints, it looks the way I would expect it to look if I had just
brought it home from the factory. This is why I wonder if the CLA would add
value.

As for storage, should I put it in a ziplok bag? It came to me in a IIIg box
(badly stained and written on) with no bags or dessicant. Should I put it
back in the box and put the box in ziplok?

Thanks for you thoughts and comments. I know that you are the people who
know and I value your opinions.
