Going back to the discussion of my Nikkormat of about a week ago, if I knew
what I know now I would have bought an M2R.  It was indeed about 1970 and I
remember seeing M2R bodies advertised for about what the Nikkormat and lens
cost.  I think it was under $300.  M2Rs fetch quite a bit more than that
now.
