I am quite myopic and I had been considering having laser surgery done
because I would like to use my Leicas (on topic!) more effectively.
However, as with all kind of surgery, only time can tell if Laser surgery is
safe with little or no side effects.  The trouble is, the technique itself
has been updated rather frequently and not one type of Laser surgery can be
regarded as 'proven'.  As a surgeon myself I am probably a 'bad patient' and
worry too much about complications, side effects, morbidity..... etc.

In the meantime I will stick to my Hoya multi-coated aspheric lenses mounted
to my titanium spectacle frame and fail to see the 28mm frames of my 0.72
and 35mm frames of my 0.85 (on topic again!).
