the fact that different people value different things comes as no surprise.
on the other hand, the fact that educated and informed people - like us
here on the lug - denigrate different things and other people holding
different opinions without offering anything more than a dismissive comment
*is* surprising. where is all that eduction and information going? in a
comment like "that's shit," it's clearly not going very far.

come on you denigraters and gustibus disputandumers - offer some real
criticism and start a dialogue rather than simply proffer sophomoric
one-liners that tell us nothing about the subject at hand, be it black tape
or cindy f****** sherman.

we all stand to learn something.
