The Automat was a decade dead by the time the T appeared -- and the
Rolleicord lasted from 1936 until 1975, so it, also, outlasted the T,
though only by a year or two.  The T was an intermediate creature between
the Rolleicord 4/5 and the Rolleiflex 2.8 and 3.5 E and F cameras.

A nice camera, though I'll stick with my 2.8F and GX and my Automat, type 3.
