Post Just some thoughts or questions on HCB's use of Leica… I am under the impression that HCB's main camera became the M3 with it's close to 1:1 finder. That he could never learn to love the later cameras with their de magnified viewfinders which optimized the wide angle lenses which he rarely used. A 50 on an M3 with it's 1:1 finder was they way he saw but also come kind of reflex upside down right angle deal perhaps for shoot mud puddles from around corners!!!:) I always saw my friends going out with their Nikons and wide angle lenes trying to reel in an HCB. A little easier with a normal lens and even a Rangefinder camera like the tools of his choice. mark rabiner :)
