Few other populations have been singled out for such systematic demonization by rulers, governments, and other religions, going back to antiquity. Monks used to incite mobs to kill Jews. In the Arab world, newspapers and elementary school text books have consistently and stridently demonized Jews as Jews, not as Israelis. "Ordinary Germans" by Goldhagen was an eye-opener for those who could not believe that "the culture of Goethe and Beethoven" would countenance such horrors. Today we have "Christian Identity" groups in the USA who call for killing Jews. Etc. etc. Oliver Bryk (long ago from Vienna)
