At the last San Jose Photo Show I was looking over the wares of a
photographer gone digital. I was eyeing a 50mm APO Rodagon, and noticed a
60mm Zeiss S-Orthoplanar, and asked what it was. He said it beat the pants
off the APO Rodgaon, and wanted $70) for it. He said the reds were much
better with the Zeiss lens. I thought it sounded excessive. Now it sounds
like I passed up a bargain!
