Well, you amaze me, Stephen. Why not argue the specific points of Erwin's with which you disagree. Instead, you launch, in public, all manner of attacks on Erwin's credibility, ethics, and motives in what he writes. I seriously doubt that anyone here is marching, in lockstep, with Leica to the extent that they don't occasionally criticize the product and/or the company. Nor do I think, for a moment, that Erwin is encouraged or subsidized, in any way, by Leica, to write what he writes. In fact, many corporations blanch at the thought of reports being generated by people outside the corporation. Fortunately, the First Amendment of the U.S Constitution pervades the Internet and the Gestapo is long gone, thus Erwin is free to post what he desires. It is just possible that Erwin truly believes that Leica is pretty darn good at what they do. Paraphrasing a television news channel in the U.S. "Erwin reports, you decide"! Stephen's post would have overloaded the pepper machine on the LEG, Tina. - -- Roger, List-Owner The LEG (Leica Enthusiasts Mailing List) http://www.topica.com/lists/leica
