Before I started to use the camera I thought that would be a big problem. But once I used it, it became very natural to make a minute shift to get to the composing eye piece and sometimes I don't even look through the composing frame, just expose. The focus eye piece takes a little bit of time to get use to, but, now I believe that the focus is more accurate and easier to use than the M. My only proof (to myself) is that the in focus results with using the Nikor 85/2.0 are much more so than when I use the 90/2.8 on my M. So now I use the 111G dedicated to the 85/2.0. A big plus of the 85/2.0 is that it is only slightly larger than the 50/1.4. I am not trying to sell anybody on the virtues of the LTM but they are truly an amazing camera and I love the 'jewel' like quality.
