Hello Good To Meet You All!

Which Leica model would fit these requirements:

1. High resolution photos
2. Light
3 smallish
4 easy to use
5 maybe takes a wide angle angle lens
6 maybe takes a telephoto lens
7 want an excellent functioning camera
    rangefinder or smaller slr
8 Any other cameras like Contax G1 G2 etc.?????
9 I could manage on a 28 mm or 50 mm lens

Which is the best camera in the world for me? (kidding)
As you can see I am learning about the Leicas
I have a Nikon F100 with a 24mm to 120mm zoom Nikkor Lens
and top of line flash. It is huge, heavy and intrusive...the pre flash
makes my
20 month old squint and people see me coming and pose which is not what I
want. It has so many functions I have not learned them all yet.

I want another camera I can easily WANT to carry and use.
I am used to a manual but miss shots as I am a slow focused
So the F100 is fast with the AF and focus tracking. The Nikon is sharp and
fast
but it could be better I think in terms of detail.

any ideas?? I am not a pro but take art like photos as I have an MFA in
painting

Thanks,

Todd Rubin, New York City
