	Window glass is not even reasonably flat (focus on infinity sometime and move the camera along the glass and watch the RF patch "drift."   Moreover, old, extruded, unannealed glass (like from the 1930s) gets wavy as time goes on.  Float glass, like auto glass, is marginally better.  Any way you slice it,  non-optical glass acts like something of a lens.  It gets worse with laminated glass and double-pane.
