LUGGERS,
    Most likely the "paint scrapes" are caused because the advance lever has
loosen up or the small screw under the advance lever is loose.
    When the lever is out under it is a small screw, this holds the plastic
cover. Remove it and tighten the screw under it. DON'T try to take the
advanvce lever off.
There is a spring on it, and you will cause problems.
