By the by, why an M5 era 50 Summicron? I favor the last expression of the breed to have the clip on and reversible lens shade; are earlier 50 Summicrons smaller or lighter? The Skinny Tele-Elmarit...if one leans towards smaller and lighter gear...is in my opinion the best deal in Leica telephoto lenses as well. Thanks Art for the weight of the skinny T-E.... So, for an ultra light M6 Travel Kit: 15 Voightlander 35 Summicron ASPH 50 Summicron ( M5 era ) 90 Tele Elmarit.....225g vs 90 ASPH at 500g....Saves 9 ounces..... Looks like the 90 ASPH is out...... Frank Filippone red735i@earthlink.net The lovely little "skinny" Tele-Elmarit weighs a mere 225g, which for me makes it the most desirable 90mm lens ever produced. Art Peterson
