If one really wants or needs the Noctilux and cannot afford to keep or buy another 50, then it is the other lens, not the Noctilux, which becomes the luxury. Alternatively, if the Noctilux will not be used to a reasonable extent for its intended purpose, it is only so much high-priced jewelry. That is your point, is it not? <<but please only do so after you've mastered using flash with your noctilux!>> Don't need no stinkin' flash with no Noctilux ( but which unit do you recommend?). Actually, for backlit situations, fill flash could prove very effective, but I spent all my money on the lens.(: Joe Sobel
