For me it's half a dozen of one, 6 of the other.  I currently use Tri-X
after years of HP5 use, because i ran into a string of problems where the
bulk HP5 that I was using appeared to be slightly fogged as it came from
the factory.  I'm not sure if it was just an age problem, but I never
experience this with Tri-X.
