They also sell Metal and Sodium Sulfite which is where i get mine from. One coffee measure of Sulfite to one tablespoon of Metol and you're in business at much less expense. Much. Those are the spoons i used i think. per liter. No worries about "how long has this chemical been in this bottle?" But you can fine tune the two ingredients. Use a different spoon a teaspoon instead of a tablespoon. Or weigh it even! I notice Kodak sells Selectol soft a paper developer which is metal with no Hydroquinone in it as D23 is but they charge a huge amount for the convenience of giving you less chemicals.
