I like the 40mm angle as well. For a while I was shooting with a 40mm 2.8
pancake on a Pentax MX. That setup was lighter and as compact as my M4 and
a 35mm 2. The lens was soo short though that I always stumbled for the
focus ring. I eventually traded that system in and now I wish I hadn't.
