Surely of all the so called analogue processes silver halide images are the most digital in origin being comprised of discrete grains. Whilst more recent electronic digizing allows easier manipulation and has either less or similar resolution to 35mm film (depending on POV I side with much less) I do not consider photography to have ever been an analogue system. cheers Frank
