Jack,

In my view, nobody will look after your negatives with the same care as you. If
you really are not willing to do your own processing but still want to shoot B&W,
I recommend Agfa Scala. This is a B&W slide film which gives quite wonderful
results. The nominal speed is 200 but it can easily be used at 400, and some
people push it all the way to 800 or higher. The only disadvantage is that there
are only a few labs that can process it.
