With a traditional silver print time has shown that if an image is developed, fixed, and washed in a specific manner it WILL last for a specific period of time as has been proven by the actual passing of time. With digital images most of this 'longevity' is for now purely based on accelerated aging test and the like. With the rapid development of newer, more archival products each month,it seems we are hearing more and more tales of inconsistency between printers, batches of paper, inks, etc. It's not that the problems occur arcoss the board, but rather that they are ramdom and unpredictable that make me nervous about committing fully at this time. Does the Piezo process provide a greater degree of certainty with regards to archival properties than does something offered by Epson? Mark T
