Mike,
Another interesting account of this project comes in Beaumont Newhall's
autobiography, 'Focus'. He was the photographic curator at the Museum of
Madern Art immediately prior to Steichen taking over the post, they were
good friends but with differing views on how populist exhibitions should be.
