Frank,
McCartney's music rights library includes, alongside loads of his, Beatles
and Buddy Holly stuff, the perrennial favorite, 'Happy Birthday to You' !
Seriously, that ditty (could you really call it a song?) had a writer and
the copyright is now McCartneys. Sing that song in public and you should be
paying performing rights, use that song on radio or TV and that's another
few dollars/pounds into his wallet.
