If neither PQ or BQ advocate separation then what the F___ have the last 2 referendums been about!! Montreal is arguably Canadas most vibrant city and FORMER economic center of the country.Unfortunately,every 10 years or so since the 1950's the soverignists(read,separatists!) have seen fit to stir up a pot that causes,as a result of the threat of soverignty,the economy to come crashing down leaving unnecessary bitterness and hostility in its wake. Undeniably,the French Canadians of pre 1960's generations got shafted pretty much every step of the way regarding use of and access to services in their language,even in their home province of Quebec. Shamefull indeed,but the problem has long been addressed. Mark Tomalty
