Subject: [Leica] Visoflex question
From: John Collier <jbcollier@home.com>

Now that the visoflex is back in fashion and advice is flowing freely, I
have a question. My 16499 finder's prism is going annoyingly soft, slight
desilvering according to Kindermann Canada, unfortunately in the centre of
the field of view. I have three options and would appreciate any advice on
which would be the best course of action.

- - have the prism resilvered by........(?)

- - get a NOS part from Leica, if it is available.

- - get another used finder.

I am reluctant to go with another used finder as I always figure the trouble
you know is better than any number of birds in the bush if I may mix my
metaphors.

Thanks in advance for any advice or abuse you care to share,

John Collier
