Art,
I doubt that Leica would ever start producing lenses for the Visoflex again
but it's fairly easy to create them yourself, or at least with the aid of a
camera engineer / machinist.
I had wanted a 180/2.8 lens for my Viso (before I had a reflex camera) but
couldn't afford the Leitz version.
I found an East German Carl Zeiss (Jena) lens made for the Praktica and
persuaded a 39mm screw thread onto its rear (after taking off the rear
shroud) this gave me correct infinity focus after applying a screw to
bayonet adapter. I've shot some lovely pictures with that lens, published
photos in fact.
In fact, now that I've an SL(2) with the 180/2.8 lens it's not got a lot to
do for itself.
D'y'wanna?
(as Frank Zappa once asked)

Someone else went on to talk about the Hektor 125mm lens for the Viso, and
that it was derived from a projector lens. I hadn't known that.
What I did manage to do was persuade a Hektor 200mm f2.5 projector lens
onto my camera but the results were far from impressive. Loads of flare off
hot spots even though the lens looks excellent optically. I suspect there
are differences in design requirements and production for taking and
projecting lenses but when I asked Leica whet these might be I received no
reply. Anyone here care to venture into that ?

You're right about that! Bring back the 180mm f/2.8 for Visoflex! Or how
about a zoom?...say, 70-210mm f/4.0? And a 2X extender?
