In short (from the Photokina LUG meeting):

They will ot stop the R line, it's an important part of
their business.
New products: yes, in 2001.
AF : never, to expensive.
Focus Confirmation : never, 80% of the price of an AF system.
They learned the lesson of the to big R8.(You may guess what
you want).
