with my apologies to Elroy & Sherwood Schwartz, and for losing the plot at
the end ...

Just sit right down and you'll hear a tale
of red dots and vulcanite,
And expensive glass and the problems of
Gloomy urban light

The lens was the mighty Noctilux
the finder bright and sure,
The TMax pro was threaded in
behind the light-proof door
(behind the light-proof door)

The weather started getting rough
the failing light was tough,
If not for the presence of the Leica M the
photo op would be lost
(photo op would be lost)

The 8 by 10s washed up OK
And examined critically
had sharp focus,
good bokeh too,
high contrast, and highlights,
no vignetting,
the professor and Mary Ann,
here on Gilligan's Isle

Mark.
