Face it.  If you want to be honest, be honest: You bought it because you
wanted it.  Not because you need that critical extra edge, which shows up in
Erwin's lens tests, but probably not anywhere else to make that kind of
difference ("a week's wages").  Otherwise it's just post-facto justification
in order to concoct a palatable excuse for getting something you already had
your mind set on.  And that is hardly honest.
