Shims often have to be used under the cams to adjust overall height and rise. A lot of work for an obsolete coupling system. A funny thing occurred to me. Considering that there is definitely enough space inside an SL, it might be easier to convert the body over to rotary coupling! Finding someone who will do it for less than an R8 would cost is another matter. But it's not a bad idea! Is it.. See Ya Javier > > END SPECULATION MODE > I did this to my 14256 macro-adapter-r. Why Leica didn't make it SL-compatible and tell everyone "use stop-down metering with Leicaflex cameras" is beyond me. > > Doug Herr > Birdman of Sacramento > http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/telyt > -------------------------------------------------- > Visit the Northwestern Alumni Association portal > page at http://www.nualumni.com to get free > web-based e-mail and many other exciting features. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
