My lens is threaded on the front and the little Hove Foto book I have lists the filter size as E41. Checking on the B&H web site I see that B+W makes a 41-46 step up ring (special order 6-10 weeks) for about $28. With a 46 front you could then pick up either a cheap $5 rubber screw in hood, or for $12 get a basic Tiffen metal hood, or for $28 special order a really nice looking metal hood from B+W. Any of the options are a good bit cheaper than the $150 or so people want for a Summarit hood. Perhaps I'm missing something here? Tom Finnegan Seattle
