Is there really that much difference between the 50mm 'cron and the 50mm
'lux?
I recently went to buy the 50mm 'cron and walked out with the 'lux because
of the speed; mind you, it was definitely `sold' to me.
I've got some great results from my 35mm 'cron, but I'm sort of toying of
buying the 35mm 'lux, again for the speed, but don't know of any difference
concerning quality.
Last week I bought the 24mm Asph + viewfinder, and found the 2.8 difficult
at first - but not as much as using the 24 with a .85 TTL - so speed is
probably my primary concern. I also put a deposit on a new 75mm 1.4 for
pretty much the same reasons.
If the 50mm 'cron has a major difference in optical quality over the 50mm
'lux, I'd like to know because I'll just the 'cron as well.
