Mark,

Read Erwin's "more than you ever wanted to know" article on rangefinder
accuracy.  (Or even just the concluding paragraphs!)  Apparently, increasing
focal length is more of a problem to rangefinder accuracy than wider lens
openings. The 135 APO is more critical to focus with a rangefinder than the
Noctilux.  Leica's press release says that the 0.58 is suficient for the
Noctilux and 90 APO.  Erwin's paper says even the 0.72 is pretty marginal on
the 135 APO.
