An excellent flash for a non TTL M6 is a used Olympus T-20. Very small,
well made, light weight and low profile, has 2 auto settings and manual, and
has thyristor for quick recycling, which is even faster with Lithium AA's.
Best of all, they are cheap used. Only flash for a TTL is an SF-20 (though
I bought a TTL and SF-20, and have yet to take a flash picture with it!)
