As long as the AEL is engaged the camera's shutter and/or aperture settings will remain constant from shot to shot. However I don't know whether or not this describes the Hexar's system since I'm not familiar with that camera. As someone who has lurked around here for quite awhile, but has never previously posted, I have to say I find it amusing how often this sort of debate breaks out. I'm not religious about the gear I use (Leica, Contax, Pentax, Rollei) and tend to discount posts that venture into such territory. OTOH this is a Leica list and extolling the features of the competition can be construed as trolling even if this isn't the intent. Best to avoid anything that resembles proselytizing. - -Dave-
