That's a real good point.  I don't mean to get off on a Minolta Vs Pentax
issue but I preferred the "cold" to "warm" balance.  Personal preference.  I
think Nikon, Canon and especially Leica have a nice neutral balance.  Leica
being the most consistent.

I have both and simply do not agree. the Pentax lenses are sharp but have a 
cold color balance. I have been through both the screw mount and bayonet 
systems of Pentax.
