She discourages video only for aesthetic reasons. All of her colleagues with whom I have discussed this matter are sufficiently confident in their own abilities not to discourage one's documentation of this unique and lovely event. Apparently, video tapes are being used in malpractice litigation to show professional errors, and the doctors obviously don't like that. The plaintiff attorney points out that a video tape can, and has, exonerated the doctor. Tom
