The outer window and the inner diffuser. The outer window is indeed square, and flush on the late M4-P and up, but the inner diffuser is slightly tilted in at the top. This is the same on my M2, my old M4-2 and my new TTL. It is held in place by a bracket and short of direct impact could not slip out of place.
