I've used all three, Leica, Heliopan and B&W, and find no problem with any of them. Heliopan does have a line of filters that is 14 layer multi-coated (7 each side) called "SH-MC", the other line is called 'Standard' and is 'double' coated (coated on each side). This is a good blurb on the Heliopan filter coatings: http://www.heliopan.com/helio1.htm They also have body and lense caps for those looking for them: http://www.heliopan.com/hoods.htm#Lens Caps - ---------- From: Bob Walkden Sent: Monday, July 24, 2000 7:02 PM To: leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us Subject: RE: [Leica] Leica or B+W Filters Hi, the problem with Heliopan filters is that only one of them, a PL, is multicoated, and that is a very recent innovation. Most of the B+W filters are available multicoated. Cheers, Bob >From: "B. D.
