[Leica] the collectively large heart of the lug

we (the lug) just sent off a check for $1111.00 to nancy mcgirr's "kids in
the dump" project. the money will be used to buy cameras and film for kids
living in guatemala city's dump. buy yourself a drink if you have one of
the lug-fundraiser prints hanging in your studio, living room, dark room,
(or in the case of my print, closet), a pat on the back, a hearty "hiho
silver" and all that. hopefully we've made the world a brighter place.

NOW, that said, if any of you have ideas for the next lug charity
(photo-related) please e-mail me privately, i've already concocted the
next nefarious fund-raising.

p.s. PLEASE refrain from following up the "rotring is the leica of
mechanical pencils". i'm still reeling from the montblanc thread that
wouldn't die.
