Many of you may remember Host Faas' book "Requiem: By the Photographers Who
Died in Vietnam and Indochina" which came out a year or two ago. The Photo
Exhibition is currently at the Chicago Historical Society and is a moving
tribute to many of those photographers who died in Indo-China and Viet Nam
during the conflict there. The exhibit contains many photos that were not in
the book.

A large number of the photographers represented including Robert Capa, Larry
Burrows, Henry Huet, Kyoichi Sawada, and many others used Leica equipment.

The exhibit runs through October 8, 2000 and admission to the museum is
$5.00. The Chicago Historical Society is located on Clark Street just north
of North Avenue.

Also running is a large exhibit of candid photographs that Harry Benson took
of the Beatles during the 1960s and early 70s.
