One of the problems is that the M3 resets the film counter not when the back
is opened, but when the take-up spool is removed from the camera.
Therefore, if you remove the spool and replace it with the M6 take-up tulip,
then you've also got to rework the mechanism for resetting the film counter.

IMO, it's not worth it.  The M3's film loading system may be a little slower
than the M6's, but you get used to it quickly.  Besides, you'll never,
never, ever, misload an M3.  It's the most positive film-loading system
known to man! ;)
