I don't process my negs any differently for scanning and inkjetting that I do
for printing fiber in my darkroom with my Aristo VC 4500 Head.
If Johnny Deadman is doing a lot of scanning from negs and feels a thinner neg
is better than a dense one I'd be inclined to give that serious consideration.
But I'm still going for a neg in the middle. Not too pink, not too crispy!
Like when I ordered a steak I'd order it medium so there was less of a chance of
getting a piece bloody raw or burnt to a crisp!

I run my Delta 400 negs in Xtol 1:3 at 70 degrees for 15 minutes agitating once
per minute.
