Adrian, thanks for the info. I'm surprised to hear that it's made from plastic, I would have expected metal. It's amazing how expensive plastic can be... I've received comments from others on this item too. Basically, I draw the conclusion it is an expensive extra that doens't perform particularly brilliantly and without which Life is most certainly possible.
