I guess this opinion can be extended to other art forms as well.  So all
those boring portraits and murals and sculptures done by Michelangelo (sp?)
and da vinci are meaningless as well.

I realize that you (B.D.) are a journalist by trade, but there is more to
photography than photojournalism.  

Now *I've* proceeded to piss off many of my fellow LUGers.  ;-).
