I bought my M3 in 1966 and it's had one CLA.  It was recently checked by
Leica and they said it was perfect.  It's been used consistently all these
years with no failures.

I would much rather have an M2/3/4 than any other M (with the possible
exception of a chrome, 3-lug M5:))

Next time someone talks to Don Goldberg, ask him what he thinks.   I have.
