I agree that Ken Hansen is well worth a visit.
They are at 509 Madison Avenue, upstairs in office bldg.
While you are in that neighborhood, check out
Cameraland at 575 Lexington Ave (around E. 51st St).
Good vibes, often good selection of Leica demo gear.
Then check out the Museum of Modern Art, and see what HCB
and others did with small cameras like Leica.

Both the Leica Gallery and Tamarkin are on the 5th floor at 670 S. Broadway.
The Leica Gallery will be encountered first when you get off the elevator.
Be sure to stop in there.  In addition to whatever show is hung, they have
lots of books for sale.  Check the Leica USA web site for the gallery hours.
