We do.

I own $15,000 in Leica stuff. $10,000 in Hasselblad. $3,000 in assorted other
cameras. $5,000 in studio light, plus accessories. Oh, and some $3,000 in
darkroom stuff. What's there to justify? All that money put together still won't
buy you a good car. I take loads of pictures, and that makes me happy. Sorry,
but that's all there's to it: me and my happiness. The same is true for all you
people, pro or amateur; you own much more than you strictly need. Soothing your
conscience by throwing a dime at the bums, or at children in Guatemala doesn't
change the fact that we are all egocentric people. Face it and deal with it.

Bernard.
