Last week I took my trusty 5cm DR Summicron to a "Leica Clinic" at the
local dealer. I'd read all the horror stories about lenses getting
hazy or fogged, and had shone a torch through mine, and indeed it was
a bit hazy in here.

The Leica technician peered through it. "That shouldn't be causing you
any problems", says he. "But we should be able to reduce that
mechanical play in the mount" (which I hadn't noticed!).
